If you follow me on Instagram then you know I recently underwent some minor surgery. It looks worse than it actually is, due to the nature of the bandage. I simply got an extra 'canal' removed from my ear. You can google this exact procedure and you can watch videos, but honestly I would not recommend it.
It started out with just a small pit on my ear that would occasionally get infected, nothing major and it would go away within a week. This last March, however it decided to give me a run for my money. I ended up at the hospital for 6 days.
Thanks to all the swelling I looked like Quasimodo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame:

As you can see I was very very swollen. I had gone into the ER the night prior to this and that is why they chose to hospitalize me then. I had apparently failed to get better on my own and now they needed to watch over me so it wouldn't spread.
I don't like hospitals, like most people I would assume. So naturally I was not very happy with my predicament. After being on antibiotics for about a month and after my swelling had gone all the way down, I was scheduled to come in for surgery.
Here I am fresh out of surgery heading home a little loopy mind you:

And here is the aftermath:

I wasn't really sure if I wanted to put this on my blog originally, but I figured why not show you a little into my very real life.
Hope I didn't gross you out too bad and until next time!
Yours Truly,
